Simms patio

This project was primarily recycled from the existing. The big pieces of concrete were repurposed into a new patio area along with a good portion of the square pavers.

Another piece of concrete was inverted to make a small accent wall/water feature and create one entrance into the patio area.

The blue bench was made from an old fence on the property and it covers the sewer clean-outs.

Used a stacked stone vibe, but with wood. Modern but rustic.

Painting.

A painting, put together by 1ft by 1 ft squares. As I built the canvas, I stopped and photographed it in degrees of being ‘done’. It’s not finished now. But I worked on it today for the first time in 2 months, so I’m showing the whole thing.

As a foot note, Dan Garcia and I did a similar project about 7-8 years ago, where people, using a construction paper frame with a square cut out of the middle, picked there square, over a 9 ft high, by 24(12 cut-able) and we would cut it out for them. It was 40$ a square with a print of the whole painting.

This will be similar. But you’ll get a poster of the steps with the square of your choosing. I may map it for online sales

Recycled wood, steel. For a small corner booth. The floating idea was to save space for legs due to the booths size and shape(triangular). The tables inside curve was to create an inviting open area for the people sitting.
